  The fourfold witness's word for the community is never "church" in the later institutional sense; it is the assembly — the called-out gathering of the covenant-people. Founded on the rock of the revealed confession, constituted by the risen lord's commission, and empowered by the spirit's outpouring, the assembly is God's flock purchased by the blood of His own Son. Its boundary is allegiance.

  The ethics of the fourfold witness form one covenant of allegiance. The structure is irreversible: the Father's grace, enacted in the sent one's life, death, and resurrection, is the indicative ground; the imperative is the allegiance's concrete shape — repentance, belief, the doing of the Father's will; and the holy spirit is the enabling presence that empowers the whole.

  The four books belong to one school of reading: law, prophets, and psalms are one covenant-narrative, authored by the one God, reaching its intended shape in the sent one. The Emmaus exposition supplies the group's own meta-hermeneutic — "beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself" — and the apostolic preaching is consistently Scripture-exposition.

  The fourfold witness jointly affirms a load-bearing core of twenty-seven propositions — one Sender, one sent one, one spirit-as-presence, one worship, one covenant-people, one inaugurated age — each unanimous across the books and grounded in the covenant's own Scripture. The same surfaces that affirm the core jointly refuse the later anachronisms.
